Alderon is advancing development of its strategically located Kami project to capitalize on the recovery of iron ore prices and favorable outlook for the sector. With access to infrastructure, skilled labor and strategic partners, the Kami project is essentially shovel ready. Alderon’s recently completed PEA shows robust economics for Kami, including an NPV of $1.4 billion, a payback period of 3.9 years and a mine life of 24 years. With an expected cash operating costs of $31.05/tonne, Kami will be one of the lowest cost producers in North America.
